Perfect Water

How is it possible? I haven't really touched the pool all winter. Sure I scooped out the leaves and stuff a couple of times, but that's really about it. I've been added chlorine for a couple of weeks now so tonight I figured I'd check it out to see which way it needed to go. It was perfect. The chlorine was just a touch high but that's good cuz it might rain just a little more. All the rest of the levels were perfect. Now I it needs is a good sweeping and a little heat. I think it's about 65 degrees right now. Anyway, hopefully we'll be swimmin away in the next month or so. Keep you fingers crossed.

Well I think I've found the last straw with Carol. I'm finally just feed up with everything. I call her, she doesn't answer, I leave a message, she doesn't call back, I email with no reply. I can see if you don't use or like email, that's fine. Does she also not use or like phones or answering machines as well? All she does is take, take, take and never gives. I mean I buy her things, do things for her and put up with her mood and what am I getting out of it. Theres definatly no sex involved even if I think about her like that every day. This day should have happened a year ago. I don't know why I waited so long. I guess just trying to give her the benifit of the doubt. This is what you get for being a nice guy. Nice guys get fucked and not in the fun kind of way.

I found this site quite a while back. I think I heard about it on the screensavers or something, but it's become quite a handy little tool. It's called dodgeit.com. It's basically a temporary mail service. Here's how it works... For those times when you need an email address, say you need to register for something, but you don't want to give them your real email address, just give them a dodgeit address. So just when I think I'm about ready to give up on Carol she says or does something nice. Just enough to keep me from running away. Nothing to make me run to her but still I stop running away. I don't really know what it was this time, but I do know that she made me feel good about me and her. I think I'll give her another week to see if I can get any real info out of her about how she feels. Anyway, that's about all I have to say about that.

Ok, today I have two bitches. I'm sure nothing can be done about either but I still have to bitch about them. If I didn't, I wouldn't be me. First of all it cost me $54 yesterday for a tank of gas. What in the hell is that all about. All I can say is that my bike will be getting some serious milage this summer. Hummmm, maybe that's a good excuse to get a new bike. Hummmmm..... Secondly, the last three days I've been setting in traffic at a dead stop for 20-35 minutes. Where am I at? No, not downtown. I'm sitting on a little two lane road in the middle of a freakin wheat field. Dirt to my left, dirt to my right. Nothing but wheat fields and a few scattered trees. Well that and a freakin two mile back up for a street light that is in town. Ok, I'm done now...

I have over the last few days made some changes to the web site. We have upgraded and revised the blog/journal software. This changes the look and many of the features of the blog. Also changed was the web stats software. Currently we are running two stat software, but the one currently in the menu is the offical one and what I will most likely stick with. Lastly I have added a Picture Gallery package. This allows myself, and other visitors to upload and post pictures. I have moved over most of the pictures from the old system already. I'm still sorting and documenting them as we speak. Both the new blog and gallery software allows for user registration for posting on both. Let me know if you notice something not quite right. Thanks....

Well I still haven't heard anything from Mark on the new job. I haven't been able to get him on the phone or anything. I called from another phone that doesn't have caller ID and didn't get an anwer either so I guess that's a good sign. Maybe he's outta the office or something. I'm hoping cuz this job is just too good to pass up.

UPDATE:
I just talked to Mark. It still sounds promising. He said the ops guys was out all day yesterday and he's been in and out of the office all week. He was headed in there now to talk to him. He said to have a resume ready. I guess I need to get some clothes to the cleaners.

So today I had to take the bike into the shop to get some maintenance. Normally I'd do it all on my own but this time It needs things like the valves adjusted and things. I figured that would be up to someone that knows a little more about bikes than myself. So as I drove away with it's happy little green face shrinking in my mirror I felt like I was sending off my child to camp or something. A very expensive camp that is. Not only was I getting the 15,000 mile maintenance, but I was getting new tires as well. Never would I think that something like that would add up to $1,100 but it will. Well might not be exactly that much since I have a K&N reusable air filter. So I'll save $20 there. Anyway, it's supposed to be back from camp next Monday at the latest. I guess I'll live until then. We'll see... :)
