So I've made another change to the site. I updated the blog software as well as the blog them. You may notice many changes over the next week or so and some things may not work exactly as advertised. It'll be better in the long run, I promise. Well at least it'll be different in the long run. :)
A parent's primer to computer slang.
This is kind of scary. It's scary that they think parents need to know this but it's even scarier than it's put out by Microsoft.
:) For all those concerned I have a doctor's appointment on the 4th. And just so you know it was a long, dull, excruciatingly painful experience to pick up the phone and call the doc.
If you haven't ever taken off all the wheels off your truck just to check out the status of your brakes, then that means only one thing... It means you don't have an air compressor and an impact wrench. Needless to say, I did this in only minutes due to my outstanding air tool support. :)
So earlier this week I had Jury Duty. I never even though I'd ever have Jury Duty. It never crossed my mind. I didn't want to do it. I thought of every way to get out of it and there wasn't any. I guess I could have lied in the interviews but I didn't really want to do that. I wanted a legitamate way out. I soon realized that there wasn't one so I just accecpted the fact that I was going to have to sit on a jury. Luckily I got on a short case. It ended up being only two days. Now even though I didn't want to do it, it was very stressful, and not any fun at all, I'm glad I did it. I did find it interesting on how the legal system works. I didn't realize how tuff it would be to write the word guilty on that little slip of paper, but it was.
So as you may have noticed I saw Motley Crue last night. It was a really good concert. We had really bad seats but there aren't too many super terrible seats in the Nokia Live, Next Stage, in Grand Prairie. It started out the audio was pretty bad. Either they fixed it during the show or I just got better at listening to it. The show itself was pretty good. It wasn't great, it wasn't terrible. Just kind of middle of the row. But that didn't matter cuz it was FREAKIN MOTLEY CRUE. We did get treated to a solid 10 minutes of Tommy Lee and his "Boob-Cam". That was rather entertaining. :) They really haven't lost anything over the years, and I want to thank them for only playing two new songs. Everything else was old school stuff. Only thing we missed was smokin in the boys room. I don't know why they didn't play that one. Anyway, I gotta t-shirt so I'm all good.
Ebay Time Machine. I really need one or two of these things.
Over the last couple of days I've got some very nice emails and phone calls of concern and support for my father. I just wanted to say thank you. It means a lot to me to have friends that are caring and concerned for myself and my family.

That cop had some nerve giving me a ticket for an expired inspection sticker. I mean, it's not like it was a year out of date. It was only 11 1/2 months outta date. Geezz... Give a guy a break. :)
This is one guy that needs to cut WAY back on his intake of CRACK. I'm pretty sure that since he works for Microsoft that so most likely he hasn't ever touched or maintained another OS.

Well I've made another change in the on going battle against comment spam. Yesterday I received over 300 spam comments. Enough is enough. Today I made a change to the comments. You must now enter a code from a graphic prior to submitting the comment. It's not case sensitive so it should be easy enough to use, and hopefully prevent a majority of the spam.
