Time paradox
/Ok, so I realize that I had not been able to write yesterday, but it is okay... To the point, I will be talking about a perplexing time paradox. Let us say that at sometime during your lifetime, something tragic happens, life-altering tragic. This event might even emotionally scar you, so then you decide to spend the rest of your life attempting to find a way to go back in time and prevent that event from ever happening. Then you do, full of elation, you go back throughout time on an impulse not thinking about the possible consequences. You miraculously end up at the exact time and place in which you wanted to be. You aren't completely out of it and presume that it is better to not be known of, seeing as how that is how many futuristic movies go wrong. Somehow, against all odds, you prevent that event from happening without being caught. Although, to tell you the truth, you couldn't have possibly done that. Why, might you ask... well, that is a very simple but complicating topic. You had prevented an event affecting you from happening through time travel, but seeing as how it never happened to you at all (because you prevented it) you wouldn't have spent your life trying to go back in time to prevent what never happened. This being said, you couldn't have prevented it, since it wasn't there, although since you weren't there to prevent it, it had to happen. But if it happened, then you would be there to prevent it... although seeing as how you already prevented it from happening, you never experienced it to prevent meaning that it had happened. And this scenario contradicts itself time after time AT THE SAME TIME... So time would seem to stand still being in a paradox, because some thing would happen while not happening without any time passing. Now this is where some theories come into play, such as the parallel universe theory. This meaning that if you went back in time, and even if it looks as if you are at the same exact place, you could possibly be in a completely different universe. This could make you paradox just affect the people of that universe and not your originating one, therefore you would not be directly affected. Although these theories seem to make everything make sense... these are just theories and there really isn't any way to test or to even disprove these. Even though these theories give me an idea of why my real question would be one of the most unlikely things to ever happen throughout the history of everything, they don't answer one of my questions. What exactly would happen if a time paradox were to happen? I mean seriously, would it like make a tear in the time space continuum or something to that extent? That is all my honor, I have nothing furthermore to say...
Except for the fact that hippos are extremely vicious..... I saw this thing on National Geography entitled: "Hippos: The Dark Side"
