So a couple of weeks ago Lynda was telling me about her breaking her new Ray Ban sun glasses. Well that got me to thinking. I have not one but two broken pair of Ray Ban's in the drawer. So last week I got them out, boxed them up and sendt them in with a $12.50 check for each of them. Today I got a box in the mail. Inside, two brand new pair of Ray Ban Predator Daddy O's.
Now the two pair I sent in where one pair of Daddy O's and one pair of Predator II's. I'm sure the reason I got back two Daddy O's was because of the II's were really really old and I don't think they make them any more. Anyway, once again Ray Ban has taken care of me. This is why I've never bought anything but since my first pair so many years ago...
You know my sleep is really screwed up when it's this time of the night (2am) and I'm up watching the NASA channel in HD. Better than being unconscience I guess...
I think I'm on my way back to the living... I'm hoping anyway. I've been pretty much out of it since last Thursday. I'm on day 6 of my fever. I hardly remember anything over that time. I have complete days that have disappeared. Somehow today I drove to Sonic and got me something to eat yet when my fever broke this afternoon and I got up and around I didn't remember any of that. I would have never known cept I had the Sonic bag and cup left out. Well hopefully I won't be doing any more zombie driving. Feeling much better tonight...
Would someone please, please, PLEASE talk me out if buying a new imac? Why do I feel the need to do this? I dunno....
Episode 188, Patrick Norton's last day on DL.tv. I'm sad to see him go, but I'm sure what ever he's off to we'll hear from him again.
Very cool video of a emergency landing. He did a pretty nice job of it. I think it would have been a different story if you were trying to put 28 wheels and 769,000 lbs down on a highway...

The True Cost of an iPhone? Try $17,670

But I'm sick and tired of the rain. Give me the sun and 95 degrees. That will cheer me up for sure. On yeah, you can take the mosquitos as well. No exaggeration I have over 50 bites right now as we speak. I'm one pissed off, mosquito bitten, rained on kind of guy right about now. :P
So over the past 7 day I've got over 90 hours here at the office. And that includes the holiday. Although I'm kinda sick of being here at the office, I sometimes find it strangely comforting. I've got plenty of stressfully things in my "real" life but at least this is one place I can have some real control over things.
That's right, we had ONE day in a row with no rain at my house. Of course that couldn't carry on into today, but yesterday there was actually not a drop of rain seen at my house. Yipeee...
Coincident, or not? A golfer looses his arm due to an attach of a one eyed alligator. It happened in Happy Gilmore ( Wikipedia, Movie Deaths ) now it happens in real life. CNN
Awesome Micro$oft Surface Parody video... I saw it on Kevin Roses blog.

So nearly the worse thing just happened. Luckily it happened at a pretty good time. My iPod is dead, well at least severely wounded. The right, or next key has stopped working. This means no next song, no games, or no using anything that need to go to the right. Normally this isn't the end of world, I just bite the bullet and go buy another. But let me say this, not counting my normal monthly bills, over the past 7 weeks I have spent $12,000. That is correct. It's not a typo, that's twelve thousand dollars. I don't need another few hundred dollars tacked on that.
Now the good part. One, I own an FM radio for my iPod. So at least I can plug that in, and at least for skipping to the next song I can use the radio to skip forward. The other good thing is I did include the cost of my soon to be iPhone in that $12,000 number. With a new iPhone I will have all the functionality of my old nano so at that point the broken nano will become a "moo" point. (Thanks Joey) I suppose I can limp along for another week with a half dead iPod knowing the iPhone is coming...
Well it's about time to sale some of my stuff that I'm replacing. If you seen anything that you like, let me know before I put it up on craigslist. It won't be too long and I'll have pics of the new stuff as well.
I usually don't post many video's and such, but this one is a little different. First of all it's very well done. Second is it is all in one take. I'm sure it took a lot of practice. Third, well it's a pretty good song. Check it out...
Who knew that Frisco had an airport? Not me. I've driven by it a hundred times and never noticed it. I guess the fact that it doesn't have any buildings and is only a runway and taxi ways would make it hard to notice. That and the fact it's inactive. Anyway, here it is... http://www.airfields-freeman.com/TX/Airfields_TX_Dallas_N.htm#frisco And here is google's view of it... http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=Frisco,+TX&ie=UTF8&ll=33.143947,-96.850362&spn=0.01847,0.047035&t=h&z=15&om=1
Ever wondered what you could buy me? Come on, I know you have. Well here is your answer... The Harmony 1000 I mean, doesn't everybody need a $500 remote control. How does one get along with out this remote control is my question. Eh, maybe after I finish my surround sound I can do splurge on this... we'll see.... Oh BTW, I now am the proud owner of iflyjet.com It was only a matter of time. :)
